We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and highly motivated SEN Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Acton, starting as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and skilled in supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all pupils have access to high-quality learning and are able to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

As an SEN Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils. You will work closely with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Supporting pupils' academic progress, social skills, and emotional wellbeing will be central to your role.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs
* Implement IEPs and monitor progress toward targets
* Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEN
* Collaborate with teaching assistants and staff to ensure inclusive learning
* Promote independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours
* Support pupils' social, emotional, and communication development
* Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and behaviour
* Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
* Contribute to staff meetings, professional development, and whole-school initiatives
* Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have proven experience teaching pupils with SEN in a primary setting
* Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable to meet diverse pupil needs
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills

* Show a clear commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing
