Job Description
Valenti Recruitment Ltd is working on behalf of a national facilities services provider to recruit a skilled and multi-tradeField Maintenance Engineer. Based in theHarlow region and surrounding areas, youll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of retail storeskeeping them safe, functional, and compliant.
??Role Overview
* Travel to retail stores across Harlow and surrounding areas to complete scheduled maintenance, inspections, and general repairs.
* Respond to emergency call-outs as part of a service-level agreement (SLA).
* Carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks including:
o Basic plumbing (e.g. fixing leaks, replacing taps)
o Basic electrics (e.g. changing light fittings, switches, sockets)
o Carpentry (e.g. door handles, locks)
o General decorating and handyman tasks
* Liaise with store managers to log issues and priorities.
* Use a bespoke reporting system to log visits and submit photographic audits.
* Manage van stock and ensure all tasks are completed safely and professionally.
* Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on travel routes.
