Job Description
We’re partnering with one of the UK’s leading PBSA providers to recruit a General Manager with responsibility for two student accommodation sites in Cheltenham and Gloucester.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll combine strong commercial drive with people-focused leadership. From maximising occupancy and driving sales, to overseeing day-to-day operations and creating a positive, inclusive student community, you’ll be central to both the commercial success and operational excellence of the sites.
What you’ll be doing
1. Lead, inspire and develop on-site teams across both locations, setting high standards and delivering first-class service.
2. Drive lettings and sales performance to achieve full occupancy and meet commercial targets.
3. Take full ownership of site operations, including facilities management, health & safety, compliance, and supplier performance.
4. Manage budgets, P&L, and financial performance, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and control costs.
5. Oversee peak operational periods including move-in, move-out, and summer turnaround.
6. Build strong relationships with universities, local partners, and stakeholders to enhance the student experience.
