Job Overview
The Resident Liaison and Engagement Officer will develop and deliver a comprehensive engagement programme for Council tenants and leaseholders across Enfield, organising events and facilitating communication between residents and the Council.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead development and delivery of a comprehensive engagement programme targeting tenants and leaseholders.
* Plan, organise and run large and small events across various sites and online.
* Ensure events support the Resident Involvement Strategy, the 2020 Housing White Paper and Housing Regulator requirements.
* Work with Council services, community groups and other stakeholders to produce engaging and informative events.
* Facilitate panel meetings, support resident groups and scrutiny panels, and help improve council services.
* Drive increased participation in all consultations, events and online through social media.
Qualifications & Experience
* Demonstrable track record of delivering outcomes and improvements through meaningful engagement activities.
* Outstanding communication skills, verbally and in writing.
* High levels of computer literacy.
* Self‑starter with a passion for empowering people and communities.
* Ability to travel and to work regular evenings and some weekends.
