Availability: Days and times vary. Schedule and hours are discussed during recruitment. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with options to work down to 12 hours if desired.
Pay and hours
Our Tesco colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 per hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. You will be scheduled within the advertised availability windows, with 3 weeks notice of your shifts.
We support flexibility for colleagues; if your availability is close to the advertised times, we would still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
* Know and serve customers with passion and provide great natural service
* Be knowledgeable about products and services within the store
* Work across service, picking, and replenishment areas as required
* Apply training to work safely, effectively, and deliver excellent customer service
* Make decisions that meet customers’ needs and deliver appropriate routines
* Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere
* Understand store performance and contribute to service, sales, waste reduction, and profitability
* Handle products with care to maintain quality and condition
* Represent the brand and follow Tesco policies
* Occasionally be required to accept deliveries into the store

Please note: Tesco will recruit individuals who meet the school leaver’s age requirement.
