Company Description
Kernel enables world-class revenue teams (Navan, Remote, GoCardless, etc) to research companies as if they had unlimited time.
Previously, revenue teams relied on manual research or static databases to understand if a company had the specific problem they solved. However with AI, companies can now access the bespoke data that truly matters to them (at scale).
We’re a team of second-time founders and have raised $5mm+ from top VCs and revenue leaders at Open AI, Slack, Snowflake, and MongoDB.
The Role
We're hiring a team of analytical/technical generalists to own the overall project management, build and deployment of Kernel AI Agents across our customer-base. You're likely a bit of a professional unicorn: a great data analyst, a strong mind for Product (customer value / JTBD), are super technically-curious (about broad gen AI, agentic AI or other), a phenomenal problem-solver and enjoy being hands-on. It isn't a strategy role, it's a real 'doing' role. If you think you're a match, apply!
What you'll be doing, specifically
* Leading relationships with with our customers to understand their requirements, ideate with them and then setting a path to deliver what they need
* Creating Kernel agents using our in-house tooling to identify, create, estimate or retrieve the data our customers care most about
* Digging into the data to understand how our agents are performing once deployed, then optimising them for each use-case
* Working closely with our GTM/CS team to help close deals, from beginning to end
* Working on team-wide tooling to ensure that the breadth of your creativity is felt across our customer-base!
Essential requirements
* 🇬🇧 Lives in the UK with a right-to-work. Ideally it's easy to get to our London-based office.
* 🤓 3-7 years of work experience (give or take), and have owned the delivery of numerous important projects. You're comfortable with high levels of ownership and are committed to doing a great job, whatever the challenge
* 🤖 Tech-savvy & tech-curious (e.g. new tools often pique your interest and you can't help but play around with them). You've potentially tried to build your own tools, too. You're excited by the prospect of increasing your technical proficiency
* 🧠 Analytical mindset—You know your way around a spreadsheet/DB (especially large data sets!) and have exceptional attention to detail. You've possibly extended into a range of other analytical / data piping tools.
* 💡 Natural problem-solver. You seek problems to solve and often find unique ways in which to solve them
* 🦏 A ton of Grit—The early days of a company are really hard work and are full of ambiguity, but often have great rewards once you push through the other side. You tend to find that you still have more in the tank even after others have tapped out.
Desirable traits
* 🥷 Startup experience: you've seen first-hand that these are high-agency, high-ownership, high-intensity rides, and know you prefer this to something easier / less-impactful.
* 💻 Some level of understanding of coding languages / syntax (or at least a strong desire to learn)
You'll really do well here if you are:
* Entrepreneurial: creative, effective, resourceful & can wear multiple hats
* All-in: hard-working, excited to stretch yourself & willing to take out the trash.
