Hostelling Scotland is a non‑profit charity dedicated to providing young people with opportunities to experience Scotland and develop life skills. At our Edinburgh Central Youth Hostel you will help guests discover Scotland while enjoying a range of outdoor activities. Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality service and maintain guest facilities to be welcoming, clean, comfortable, secure, and compliant.
* Enhance guest experience and exceed expectations, including handling feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
* Ensure health and safety and security for guests, staff, volunteers, and visitors at all times.
* Supervise, train, and develop the hostel team while upholding uniform, presentation, and hygiene standards.
* Provide cover for team members when short‑staffed and perform cleaning duties as required.

* Excellent communication skills and an inspirational approach to interacting with people.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing workload and demands, and willingness to go the extra mile.

Additional Information
