We are looking for a caring, highly efficient, flexible and friendly Teaching Assistant to provide individual support to a delightful pupil with an EHCP and a diagnosis of ASD in a Year 3 class. General learning support within the classroom will also be required. A Teaching Assistant qualification would be an advantage, or willingness to gain this qualification. You will need to hold, GCSE Maths and English Grade C / Level 4 or above and be IT literate.
WORKING HOURS: 8:15am–3:20pm Monday to Friday (with a half hour unpaid lunch break)
Evidence of qualifications and photographic identification will need to be shown atthe first stage of the interview process. If not shown, the interview processwill be unable to continue. You will also be asked to complete a self disclosure form at the first stage of the interview process.
You will need to be reliable, energetic, supportive and a positive team player with a sense of humour and excellent communication skills.
Previous Teaching Assistant experience and a First Aid qualification would be an advantage.
