Adult Social Care Locality Manager – Permanent, 37 hours per week, located in Herefordshire.
Salary £51,356 – £55,915 + benefits.

Qualifications
* Registered Social Worker with SocialWork England and a qualifying degree.
* Significant post‑qualification experience and deep understanding of current legislation.
* Track record of delivering high‑quality services and driving improvement.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex networks and partnerships.
* Effective collaboration with external agencies.
* Full, clean driving licence and willingness to explore the county.

Responsibilities
As a Locality Manager you will lead a team of senior practitioners, social workers and support staff to deliver high‑quality adult social care services. You will ensure assessments, planning and care provision are evidence‑based, person‑centred and aligned with statutory requirements. You will manage budgets, resources and performance, drive service improvements, act as a technical reference point for complex social care issues, promote partnership working and build resilient communities, ensure compliance with legislation, and thrive in a supportive culture that offers regular supervision.
What You Will Be Doing
* Lead and inspire teams to deliver outstanding services, influence cultural change and create a clear vision for the future.
* Manage budgets, resources and performance to achieve efficiency, quality and value for money.
* Drive service improvements and implement innovative ways of working aligned with Council Plan priorities.
* Act as a technical reference point for complex social care issues.
* Promote partnership working to safeguard adults and enhance wellbeing.
* Ensure compliance with Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act and safeguarding frameworks.
