Mobile Maintenance Operative – Job Advert
Salary: £13 p.h
Working days: Requirement Mon to Fri with the occasional weekend cover if required.
Location: Co Durham and surrounding areas within the N.E.
2 - 4 days working per week.
Reporting to the (National Service Manager), your main responsibility will be to provide maintenance / Emergency Cleaning Support services to our internal customers.
· Domestic/Commercial/Clinical Cleaning / Property Repairs

You will ensure that:
· Areas are cleaned to the highest standards
· Health and Safety is maintained across Cleaning / Maintenance role.
· Equipment is cleaned after use and is stored correctly
· Customer requests are dealt with promptly and courteously
· Cleaning supplies are ordered regularly and all stock is accounted for
To succeed in this role you will need:
* To have excellent attention to detail
* To have good organisational skills
* To maintain cleaning records
* To communicate fully with line manager
* To work independently and use own initiative
* To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
* Initially have own transport - Mileage allowance
* To have good DIY / Maintenance skills across most aspects of repair, we look after a mixture of housing, offices, clinical sites therefore a good level of experience is beneficial.
* Have access to own tools, however this can also be expanded on.
* There is a need to be mobile so own transport is required, however access to a van can also be arranged.
This department acts as a support to our larger network and local sites, we cover holidays and sickness when required, we provide extra support at sites when requested. We also carryout repairs and maintenance which would have us complete tasks such as painting, tiling, carpet cleaning, joinery, basic level plumbing etc.
