Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced, consultant to support our Risk & Crisis team for maternity cover. This could be on a freelance or maternity contract basis. Part-time would also be considered.
You will be responsible for helping to deliver crisis preparedness programmes for our clients, who mainly sit within the food & drink sector.
You will have a proven track record of delivering high quality risk and crisis work across a number of clients and have comprehensive knowledge of the food and drink industry.
Responsibilities
Support the Risk & Crisis team in delivering crisis preparedness programmes for our clients, including activities such as:
* Review crisis management processes and procedures in line with industry best-practice and international standards.
* Developing crisis management policies, processes and procedures.
* Embedding new ways of working within crisis management teams.
* Supporting the development and facilitation of crisis simulation exercises.
Skills & Experience:
* At least 5 years’ experience helping businesses enhance their resilience, through a range of risk and crisis management activities.
* Hands-on crisis experience, from a strategic, operational and communications standpoint.
* Comprehensive knowledge of the food and drink industry.
* Strong clear and concise written communication skills.
* Strategic thinking – you always see the big picture and consequences of a course of action – as well as pragmatic solution-finding.

Location and hours
* Our London office is based in the heart of the City of London on Gresham
* Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week between 09:00 and 17:30
