Cogent Skills has an exciting opportunity for a Nuclear Careers Coordinator. This role will support the delivery of the Nuclear Sponsorship Scheme (NSS) and will ensure that plans and controls are in place, progress is tracked, milestones achieved, and management processes and systems are adhered to.

* Salary up to £31,000 dependent on experience

Key Accountabilities
* Responsible for the day-to-day tracking of outcomes.
* Issue and analyse progress reports, update plans, and raise concerns with colleagues to overcome barriers, manage risks, and resolve issues.
* Support applicants to the nuclear sponsorship scheme, providing information, customer service, and updates on applications.
* Provide excellent customer service and support to nuclear employers' queries.
* Collaborate with delivery team members to track and report progress and ensure milestone/deliverable achievement.
* Support the delivery team in daily activities, keeping stakeholders informed.
* Schedule, attend, and take notes for meetings, preparing agendas and paperwork.
* Ensure controls are used according to programme requirements.
* Assist with finance and contracts administration as agreed.
* Maintain awareness of delivery plan status and raise concerns.
* Prepare performance reports to support decision-making.
* Carry out organisational tasks within set deadlines.
* Keep the delivery plan updated and ensure key documents are version-controlled and filed appropriately.
Key Performance Indicators
* Effective coordination of stakeholders ensuring timely and quality inputs.
* Timely turnaround of key deliverables aligned with contract milestones.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
* Proven experience in a support role.
* Good understanding of management methodologies.
* Experience working with complex stakeholders and customers, emphasizing excellent customer service.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
* 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at C or grade 5.
* Experience in a related field.
* Willingness to work towards or hold an entry qualification in administration.
