We're looking for applicants to join our Customer Contact Centre. Starting as a Customer Service Advisor, you will gain experience within the Housing sector.
The opportunities from joining our Customer Contact Centre are extensive, with pathways to roles within Supporting Housing, Digital Inclusion, and Customer Focus teams. Some former Advisors have progressed to senior management roles.
You don’t need prior Housing experience to thrive in this role. We recruit hard-working people who align with our values and handle difficult conversations (such as anti-social behaviour) and then train you to become a well-rounded Housing Professional with opportunities for career progression.
Role details
We have 15 fixed term contract roles available with a contract end date of 31st March 2026. Shifts will range from 8am to 10pm. Working 7.25 hours per day and 36.25 hours per week.
What you’ll do
We pride ourselves on delivering first-class customer service. You will join our award-winning Customer Service Centre, operating since 2001. The team is undergoing a period of growth, so we are recruiting additional Customer Service Centre Advisors to support during this exciting phase. In a typical day you may assist a customer with a housing application, manage low-level anti-social behaviour, or diagnose repair issues. We will teach you everything you need to know.

About you / Requirements
* Experience in triaging complex related contacts in Home Repairs and diagnostics is preferred.
* You don’t need prior Housing experience; we recruit for behaviours and values and provide training.
Working arrangements
The first six months in post are office-based. Following this, the role can become hybrid (two days from home and three days in the office) to support work-life balance, or can be fully office-based for applicants who cannot work from home. The office is accessible by local bus routes and free onsite parking is provided.

The role includes working bank holidays and over the Christmas period. We may advance the closing date if a large number of quality applications are received.
