AtkinsRéalis are looking to recruit an innovative Technical Architect or Architectural Technologist to join our Birmingham team, as part of the wider Midlands, South-West and Wales business region. AtkinsRéalis is a multidisciplinary practice with a global depth of talent and reach, delivering design across Education, Commercial, Energy, Defence and Residential sectors. Our staff work alongside Architectural, Engineering and specialist consultants across multiple disciplines. Responsibilities
* Contribute to the successful delivery of projects with varying levels of complexity and sizes from small to large-scale, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all work produced.
* Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, organization, time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Be self-motivated, flexible, with a positive, can-do attitude, and be a strong team player.
What you can bring
* RIBA Part 3 qualification or CIAT accreditation, with demonstrable 3–5 years' experience on a range of complex projects at different stages and a good understanding of UK Building Regulations.
* Experience across sectors, direct work with clients and contractors, and leadership and coordination of design teams.
* Understanding of the design process and RIBA Plan of Work, with ability to deliver a project from concept through detail design to on-site delivery.
* Experience leading multi-discipline teams, ensuring design coordination, interface resolution, clash detection and resolution.
* Ability to produce, analyse and advise on materials selection, specifications and detailed design solutions related to performance and production criteria, and proficiency with NBS software.
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks or other advanced collaboration tools, BIM model federation, model checking, clash and interface management; on-site job running is desirable.

* This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will depend on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. The vetting process is delivered by UK Security Vetting (UKSV).
