About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and organised Co-ordinator to join our dedicated team in our Thurrock You will play a key role in supporting the operational team, ensuring smooth administration, accurate records, and excellent service delivery to residents, clients, and colleagues.
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on housing management and repairs systems
2. Monitor cases from initial report through inspection, remedial works, and closure
3. Ensure cases are progressed within agreed timescales and regulatory requirements
4. Act as a key point of contact for residents affected by damp and mould
5. Provide clear, timely updates and reassurance throughout the process
6. Handle enquiries and concerns sensitively, recognising the impact on residents’ health and wellbeing
7. Liaise with contractors to monitor progress, access, and completion
8. Ensure post-inspection actions and recommendations are followed up
9. Update damp and mould registers and compliance trackers
10. Support performance reporting, including KPIs, trends, and repeat cases
11. Assist with audits, regulatory returns, and internal reviews
12. Help identify properties or households at increased risk
13. File and manage inspection reports, photographs, and correspondence
14. Support housing officers, asset management, and repairs teams
15. Contribute to continuous improvement of damp and mould processes
Key Criteria
16. Proven administrative experience, ideally within social housing or a related environment
17. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
18. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
19. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
