The Role As a SEND Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support for students with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate learning difficulties. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND. Assist in implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans. Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Help maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents where appropriate. Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND (school, care, or youth setting). Strong understanding of inclusive education practices. Calm, patient, and adaptable approach. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
