About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled
Production Engineer
to join their team at High Wycombe. You'll be responsible for ensuring smooth transitions from engineering design to production, supporting our UK manufacturing operations, and driving continuous improvement. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise processes, develop tooling and fixtures, and maintain high-quality standards.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications/Experience (choose one of the below):
* Degree-qualified (or similar) in Engineering or a related field with
2+ years' experience
, or
* Vocational qualification with
2+ years' experience
, or
* No formal qualification but
5+ years' proven production engineering experience
.
Skills & Knowledge:
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
* Experience in Jig or tooling design is highly advantageous
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
* Experience in quality control, cost optimisation, and process efficiency.
* Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and overseas (typically once every two years).
