Job Description Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer required to join a market leading supplier of Industrial Automation & Mechanical Engineering products. The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer shall work fully remote, covering the North, responsible for developing new business and managing existing key accounts for a range of technical mechanical engineering products such as motors, gearboxes, drives and other power transmission / motion control products. The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer will ideally have a proven background selling any technical mechanical engineering product to OEM’s. Products such as gearboxes, motors, valves, compressed air, drives, actuators, fluid power, bearings, and or similar mechanical engineering products. Package £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience Company Car Bonus Company Pension Mobile phone, laptop 25 days holiday including bank holidays Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role Responsible for developing new business and managing existing key accounts for a range of technical mechanical engineering products such as motors, gearboxes, drives and other power transmission / motion control products. Will provide a consultative sales approach, including technical support, product specifications, and demonstration of all mechanical engineering related products and components. Work remotely, visiting customers across the North of the UK to ensure customer requirements Liaise with various Engineering departments Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements Experience as a Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager / Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager / Internal Sales Engineer / Sales Executive or similar within a Mechanical Engineering environment. Experience selling mechanical engineering product to OEM’s within industrial markets. A technical engineering qualification is advantageous. Will be willing to travel across North of the UK and regularly visit customers.
