GAP Pump & Power Services Division provides advice, servicing, maintenance, and repair for generators, dewatering and sewerage pump applications, including hoses, settlement tanks, and water processing solutions.
About the role
Reporting to the Technical Sales Manager, you will maximise Pump & Power Services hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers and win new business. This includes delivering sales presentations to senior management level customers and attending depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering. You will also work with Regional Sales Managers and their sales teams across the GAP Group network to proactively promote hire opportunities within their existing customer base.
Note: this role will be responsible for driving revenue for our Elgin depot, though the successful candidate’s location is flexible.
Key responsibilities
* Maximise hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customers.
* Win new business and deliver senior‑level sales presentations.
* Attend depot/customer trade days to promote product offering.
* Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and sales teams to promote hire opportunities.
About you
* Significant experience working in a field sales role, ideally within the pumps or power industry (full training provided).
* Proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth by maximising opportunities from existing customers and winning new business.
* Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Effective negotiator and problem solver who can work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload.
* Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems.
* Driving licence (essential).
