Role Overview We are seeking a Nuclear & Industrial Sales Engineer to join our expanding UK sales team. This exciting role requires someone commutable to Henfield, West Sussex, who can develop and manage accounts across the nuclear and industrial sectors. You will be responsible for driving sales, delivering technical solutions, and building long-term customer relationships. The position involves regular travel across the UK and occasional international trips, working closely with manufacturers and colleagues to grow awareness of our products and deliver an outstanding customer experience. Role Requirements – Manage and grow customer relationships across nuclear, defence, industrial, and academic sectors. – Identify and pursue new business opportunities through calls, visits, and exhibitions. – Deliver engaging product presentations, demonstrations, and application support. – Maintain accurate records and reports on the company CRM. – Represent the business at trade shows and industry events. – Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to maximise sales success. Person Specifications Essential: – Scientific/technical background (degree in Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, or equivalent experience). – Comfortable working with ionising radiation and visiting nuclear-licensed sites. – Personable, professional, and well-organised. – Strong presentation and problem-solving skills. – Willing to travel regularly across the UK, including overnight stays. – Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a full UK driving licence. – Must be located within a commutable distance to Henfield. Desirable: – Knowledge of nuclear physics, radiation protection, or electronics. – Sales experience within the nuclear or electronics industries. – Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
