About the Role:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be a vital part of our supply chain process, ensuring the safe, efficient, and accurate handling of goods in and out of the warehouse. This role combines physical tasks with some administrative responsibilities, providing a varied and rewarding work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and Process Deliveries: Check inbound deliveries against paperwork, ensuring accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.
* Stock Maintenance: Assist with inventory counting and ensure meticulous organisation within the warehouse.
* Component Picking: Prepare and pick components as needed, working closely with your team.
* Outbound Shipments: Collaborate with the Quality Control team to process timely and accurate outbound shipments.
* Forklift Operations: Safely operate the forklift for incoming and outgoing shipments, while also performing banksman duties.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualifications: Valid Forklift (Reach) licence and banksman training preferred.
* Skills: Strong numerical and written English skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to work independently.
* Experience: Familiarity with warehouse procedures, inventory control, and basic IT skills is a plus.
* Attributes: Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
