About the Role
We are recruiting an Executive Assistant to support our Principal Officers on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role involves working closely with our Principal Officers and the wider Executive Leadership Team to provide high-quality, professional executive support. The ideal candidate will have experience managing competing workloads, building professional relationships, and possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Main Duties:
* Provide effective coordination, secretariat, and administrative support to the Principal Officer and the wider Executive Leadership Team.
* Act as a professional first point of contact for TWFRS’s Executive Leadership Team, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, screening calls, emails, and correspondence, and handling inquiries appropriately.
* Support meetings of the Fire Authority and ELT, including booking venues, arranging refreshments and equipment, and preparing/distributing agendas and reports.
* Coordinate high-profile national meetings and events.

* Proven interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to evolving priorities.
