This is a brilliant opportunity to join my client, a well:established, expanding Multidisciplinary Consultancy, dedicated to broadening their geographical reach by opening a brand new office location in Bonnie Scotland. Known for lending their expertise to a number of high:profile projects across the landscape architecture, planning, and civil engineering fields, they are currently searching for a talented, keen Senior Civil Engineer with extensive knowledge of infrastructure design, who is willing to take on a variety of new and challenging projects. You will be working alongside a newly:established team of design experts, based near the vibrant, multicultural city of Glasgow.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
* Contributing to the design of infrastructure projects and developments across the local region and beyond
* Overseeing the day:to:day running of various projects, from inception through to successful delivery/implementation
* Mentoring and supporting colleagues professional development
* Liaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
* Preparing and checking technical documents, to include reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, and more
* Adhering to company policies, procedures, and best practice, ensuring you uphold the appropriate health and safety standards at all times
* Acting as a company representative at client meetings, site visits, etc.
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
* A UK Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering (or a similar subject)
* Possess Chartered Status with a recognised professional body (e.g., ICE)
* Extensive experience of working in a design:based role, within a UK:based consultancy or Local Authority setting
* Considerable experience of working on infrastructure (particularly highways and drainage), housing developments, and energy projects
* Experience of earthworks and drainage network modelling
* Proficient in the use of various software systems (including Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, etc.)
* Considerable experience of writing and checking a variety of technical documents
* Demonstrable experience of liaising with clients and stakeholders within the industry
* Outstanding organisation, time management, team leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Civil Engineer include:
* A Higher Degree in a relevant discipline
* Experience of authoring Flood Risk and/or Transport Assessments
* Experience of leading projects/teams
* Experience of working in a public:facing role
* Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
