Supported Living Support Worker, Wallingford, From £24,870 per annum

Permanent Job opportunity

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supported Living Support Worker to join a leading care provider in Wallingford, supporting individuals with learning disabilities. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives, providing personal care, support with daily tasks, and enabling individuals to participate in fun and fulfilling activities. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring that each individual has a varied and exciting experience, from music and cinema trips to days out and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
As a Supported Living Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include providing high-quality support and care to individuals with learning disabilities, assisting with personal care, eating and drinking, shopping, and household tasks. You will also be responsible for planning and participating in activities that promote social interaction, independence, and overall well-being. With a focus on person-centred care, you will work closely with individuals to understand their unique needs and preferences, tailoring your support to ensure they receive the best possible care.

Required Skills & Experience
While experience in care or working with people with specific additional requirements is desirable, it is not essential. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives, with a positive, can-do, and professional attitude. You should be reliable, flexible, and able to work sleepovers. A valid UK Driving Licence is also required. Full training and an induction will be provided to all staff, so if you are eager to learn and develop your skills, we encourage you to apply.

30 days annual leave (including bank holidays) for full-time staff (pro-rata for part-time)
£68 per night for sleep-ins (breakfast included)
Company Pension Scheme – 5% Employer Pension Contribution
Flexible working hours
Free comprehensive ongoing training, including a unique Leadership Development Programme with the ability to progress to Assistant Support Manager within 18 months
