What you’ll be doing
* Supporting the development and implementation of Production Planning and Control practices
* Promoting the sharing of specialist knowledge across the business and promoting continuous improvement
* Assisting in the deployment of training and risk assessments
* Managing and developing staff, including identifying development opportunities
* Building cross-functional relationships to achieve project requirements
* Identifying resource activities requirements and prioritising work affecting manufacture, fabrication or construction
Your skills and experience
Essential:
* Extensive experience of Production Planning & control within a project environment
* Good understanding of the wider Production Planning & Control environment, including the market, customers and culture
* Excellent stakeholder management experience, including defining and managing KPI’s
* Proficient in use of SAP and Team Centre with an understanding of MRP Systems
Desirable:
* Hold or being filling to work towards a APICS CPIM qualification or APMQ

Internal Manufacturing, Production, Planning & Control Team
This role offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure across the business, working with a variety of disciplines, functions, customers, and contracts. You’ll support major programmes including Astute, Dreadnought and potentially SSNA, while benefiting from future growth into new facilities and clear opportunities to progress in the future. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
