An exciting opportunity to join a leading law firm as a Business Development Manager looking after the Real Estate practice group. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role has a focus on working closely with the fee earners to develop a go to market business development plan.
Key Responsibilities
* Shape and evolve business development and marketing strategy in collaboration with senior stakeholders
* Close collaboration with stakeholders in other sectors and practices relevant to the needs of clients in the practice group and its marketing strategy
* Liaising with industry trade bodies and other outside parties, in proactively finding platforms such as conferences, working groups, research projects and other opportunities to raise our profile within the industry
* Drive client-focused initiatives and identify opportunities to raise market profile
* Deal with ad hoc requests for capability statements and informal pitches within the sector where required
* Coordinate with PR, marketing, and external networks to amplify messaging
* Support ad hoc business development requests including pitch materials and capability statements
Key Attributes & Requirements
* Proven experience in BD or marketing within a professional services environment OR from a Real Estate background looking to move to a law firm.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* Commercial mindset with a focus on client outcomes
* Organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple projects
* This role would look at a Senior BD Executive who is looking to step up into their first BD Manager role
