Job Description

How Ya Doing is partnering with an FCA-regulated payments specialist that is built specifically for the recurring commerce market. They provide a unified, API-first platform that handles the full payment lifecycle - integrating card processing, Open Banking, and automated Direct Debits for UK-based subscription, lending, and digital goods businesses.

The company has recently secured growth funding and is currently scaling its footprint in the VRP and Open Banking space. They move away from the "one-size-fits-all" approach of larger providers, focusing instead on high-performance, tailored infrastructure for scaling businesses.

Sales Development Representative - Fintech / Payments

We’re looking for an SDR who wants to own the top of our outbound funnel. You’ll be the first point of contact for financial and subscription-based decision-makers, focusing on high-volume, personalised outreach.

The goal is simple: book qualified discovery meetings and lay the groundwork for long-term partnerships. We’re looking for someone hungry to hit their numbers and move into an Account Executive role within 12 months.

What you’ll be doing

* Pipeline Generation: Book at least 10 qualified discovery meetings a month through a mix of cold calls, email sequences, and LinkedIn.
* Daily Activity: Maintain a disciplined cadence of 30 to 40 personalised touchpoints every day.
* Tooling & CRM: Use Clay and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to build targeted lists and keep HubSpot organised.
* Sequence Optimisation: Run and tweak multi-step outbound sequences. You’ll test messaging and CTAs to see what actually converts.
* GTM Collaboration: Work directly with our GTM Lead to sharpen our ICP and share feedback from the field to help improve our positioning.

What you bring to the table

* Background: You’ve done the SDR or outbound sales grind before.
* Industry Context: If you’ve worked in payments, fintech, or financial services, that’s a massive plus.
* The Hustle: You’re comfortable managing 30 to 40 personalised touchpoints daily. This isn't about spamming; it's about high-quality volume.
* The Tech Stack: You know your way around Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Lemlist (or similar sequencing tools).
