Are you a Qualified Electrician with manufacturing experience looking for a new exciting challenging role! This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where technical expertise and a proactive mindset are essential to keeping production lines moving.
You will be responsible for the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repair of a wide range of sophisticated food processing and packaging machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime, alongside scheduled electrical inspections.
Fault-finding and basic programming on PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Mitsubishi).
Ensuring all electrical work meets standards and adheres to regulations.
Identifying opportunities to enhance machinery efficiency and safety protocols.
Assisting with new equipment installations and site-wide electrical upgrades.
Requirements
Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds in Electrical installation
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
Must hold a valid 18th Edition (BS7671) certification
Experience working in a fast-paced factory environment.
Proven ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot complex control circuits.
A "safety-first" approach with the ability to work independently under pressure.
