Overview
YouLend is a rapidly growing FinTech and the preferred embedded financing platform for many of the world\'s leading e-commerce platforms, tech companies, and Payment Service Providers. This role is for an Office Assistant supporting a sociable and dynamic team. The base pay range and the statement that actual pay is based on skills and experience are noted for transparency.
Base pay range
Salary: £29,000 - £30,000 + £2,000 quarterly bonus (based on performance). The actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression; direct them appropriately and notify relevant colleagues.
* Perform administrative tasks including handling post, arranging couriers, ordering gifts and incentives, and managing office stock and branded materials.
* Set up and maintain meeting rooms, arrange catering, and prepare refreshments.
* Coordinate employee benefits and wellbeing activities (e.g., booking massage therapists, organising birthday cakes, arranging daily lunches).
* Book and manage travel arrangements (flights, hotels, restaurant reservations, and other trip logistics) for international and domestic travel.
* Liaise with building management to report and resolve facilities or maintenance issues promptly.
* Support HR processes by onboarding new employees and offboarding leavers (e.g., removing access, updating accounts).
* Maintain and restock kitchen supplies; manage weekly orders and regular deliveries.
* Identify and resolve office issues, escalating to the Office Manager when needed.
* Assist with office projects (workspace extensions, desk relocations, health & safety inspections).
* Coordinate meetings with external suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
* Distribute company-wide communications to employees and monitor the Office Management inbox with timely responses.
Qualifications
* Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong workload prioritization and multitasking abilities.
* Friendly, professional, and approachable; acts as the first point of contact for visitors and callers.
* Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and remain calm and efficient.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and on the phone).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* First Aid and Fire Safety training (preferred but not required).
Desirable skills
* First aid and fire safety trained (ideal but not mandatory).
