Job Description
3. Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
4. Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making processes.
5. Prepare budgets and forecasts, monitoring variance analysis to ensure financial targets are met.
6. Manage and oversee the organisation's financial transactions and reporting systems.
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and advice.
8. Assist with audit preparations and liaise with external auditors as needed.
9. Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
10. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
12. Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of financial reporting standards.
13. Experience in preparing management accounts and financial analysis.
14. The ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
15. Proficiency in accounting software and strong MS Excel experience.
16. A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial challenges.
