About The Role:
Duties will include:
* As theProject Manager, you will be at the heart of all planning, ensuring the flawless organisation and delivery of every event.
* You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end project and programme management of a range of various size projects. This will include planning, preparing specifications, workflows and schedules of work, ensuring strict management of every project through to completion and final handover to our Operations team.
* Project & Operations Management:Oversee the operational logistics for all events, ensuring they are executed flawlessly. Coordinate schedules, liaise with clients, third party suppliers, and internal teams to guarantee a seamless experience and project execution.
* Develop and maintain streamlined processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across the route.Continuously assess and improve operational workflows.
* Oversee compliance with company policies, route planning requirements, and health and safety standards. Maintain accurate records, track key performance indicators, and generate reports to ensure operational excellence.
* Collaborate with internal teams, LNER Client, equipment engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate planning and coordination.
* Must be willing to travel on occasion, along the LNER route for duty
* Be accountable for bringing together crucial pieces of information such as strategic priorities, operational performance, innovations, regional events, markets, etc. from various internal and external sources in order to develop strategic options.
Skills required:
* Experience of project management software including Asta Powerproject / MS Project.
* Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of Microsoft suite of packages.
* Exceptionally organised and methodical approach
Desirable:
* Knowledge of the Railway & Operational diagrams
