Paid Media Events Specialist – UK (Remote, 12 months)

We are looking for a Paid Media Events Specialist to join a global marketing team on a 12-month remote contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in executing, shaping, and overseeing paid media ad campaigns for high-profile events across digital channels.
You will be working as part of a centralised Paid Media Centre of Excellence, collaborating with cross-functional teams, external publishers, media agencies, and event organisers to ensure campaigns deliver measurable results at scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with marketing, communications, and creative teams to align paid media strategies with event goals.
* Build workback plans, manage creative asset timelines, and coordinate with media agencies.
* Oversee and run paid campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn, paid search, display, print, and video.
* Monitor and analyse performance data, preparing reports and actionable recommendations to optimise results.
Required Skills & Experience
* 3 to 6 years' project management experience, with proven ability to coordinate between brand/communications teams and digital promotion plans.
* Hands-on experience building LinkedIn ads and campaigns (MUST)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and structured workback plans.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Solid understanding of paid media channels and event promotion tactics.
* Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate and recommend solutions effectively.
Desirable Skills
* Experience in an agency setting, field marketing, or event marketing.
* Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and Adobe Analytics.
