Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for an Ocean Export Operator to join their office in Basildon.
Manage export LCL process start to finish via in house system
Book containers with carriers and apply for haz approval to ensure the most efficient and profitable loadings
Liaise with UK warehouses to book container loading
Issue loading manifests to warehouses
Issue Bill of Lading Instructions to carriers prior to documentation cut
Check Master Bill of Lading when received from carrier and highlight any errors or approving.
Send pre-alerts to overseas agents/offices within 48 hours of sailing
Ensure cost estimates are entered on all jobs within the correct accounting month
Ameta profit sharing if applicable
