I am delighted to be partnering with a manufacturing business based in Scunthorpe on their search for a newly created Assistant Management Accountant role! Key day to day duties: Lead the management of supplier rebates, ensuring accurate recording, reconciliation, and allocations Support the Financial Director in preparing monthly management accounts and conducting general ledger analysis Produce and circulate monthly sales performance reports to senior stakeholders Serve as a key contact for stakeholders regarding financial queries and reporting matters Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial integrity Manage inter-company recharges and ensure correct processing Maintain and enhance KPI reporting frameworks Review and analyse expense invoices for accuracy and compliance Provide holiday cover and ad-hoc support across the Management Accounts team Publish daily performance league tables for internal visibility Assist with finance-related projects and initiatives led by the Financial Director Contribute to year-end audit preparation and statutory reporting activities Drive improvements in financial processes, controls, and reporting tools Participate in cross-functional projects such as system upgrades, cost analysis, and margin reviews Coach and mentor junior finance colleagues
