Assistant Merchandiser

We are partnering with an established retail brand to find an Assistant Merchandiser who’s confident with trading, range planning and making commercial decisions, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support commercial strategy across stores and online. The role would suit an experienced Merchandising Assistant looking to step up, or an existing Assistant Merchandiser looking for a new challenge.
In this role, you’ll support the Merchandiser, get involved in range planning, and help keep stock flowing smoothly throughout the season.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Set up, maintain, and optimise range plans and line cards to support commercial objectives.
* Analyse stock and sales performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
* Monitor stock levels and cover, taking proactive actions to maximise sales and minimise lost revenue.
* Ensure replenishment systems remain accurate, efficient, and fully up to date.
* Review weekly sales performance, support forecasting, and contribute to in‑season trading adjustments.
* Prepare weekly trading data and coordinate timely distribution of sales reports to key stakeholders.
* Conduct promotional and product performance analysis to inform data‑led commercial decisions.
* Collaborate closely with merchandising, logistics, and field teams to ensure smooth stock flow and trading execution.
* Provide operational support by stepping in for the Merchandiser when needed.
