Job Description:
We are currently looking for a hard working, enthusiastic and friendly person to join our dynamic, fast paced Day Surgery Theatre Suite, as a trainee Peri-operative Assistant.
We offer wide and varied surgical specialties that include Maxillo Facial, ENT, General Surgery, Orthopaedic Trauma, Gynaecology, Urology, Ophthalmology, and plastic surgery procedures, in all of the aforementioned specialties.
You should possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work cohesively within the multidisciplinary team.
Hours will be worked to meet the needs of the service, primarily Monday-Friday, with flexibility to work across all sites in Fife. The position includes work within both theatre and recovery.
A robust induction program is provided, supported by 3 Clinical Educators and a part-time Education Coordinator.
The theatres are fast-paced environments where teamwork is essential. If you enjoy challenges and want to join this busy, friendly unit, this may be the right role for you.
Please note, this is a Trainee post, and Annex 21 applies. The training period lasts more than one year but less than two years, with pay at 75% of the pay band maximum of the qualified rate.
