Skilled Painter & Decorator | Berwick-upon-Tweed Agency: Search Consultancy Location: Berwick-upon-Tweed Search Consultancy is looking for experienced and reliable Painter & Decorators to join our busy construction teams on a key project in Berwick. We are partnering with leading interior fit-out specialists and major house builders who require a high-end finish and a sharp eye for detail. If you are a specialist who thrives in a productivity-driven environment and can deliver a flawless finish across residential or commercial plots, we have immediate starts and long-term work available now. The Role This is a high-finish role where quality is paramount. You will be responsible for: * Surface Preparation: Sanding, filling, and priming surfaces to ensure a perfect base for finishing. * Internal & External Painting: Application of undercoats and finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers where required. * Specialist Finishes: Glossing, staining, and emulsion work to strict client specifications. * Wallpapering: Skilled application of wallcoverings and vinyls (where required for specific plots). * Productivity Driven: We need Painters used to the pace of new-build "snag-free" handovers or fast-track commercial refurbishments. Requirements * NVQ Qualification: Must hold a UK NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Decorative Finishing and Industrial Painting. * CSCS Card: A valid Blue (Skilled Worker) or Gold (Advanced Craft) card is mandatory. * Experience: Proven track record in residential plot finishing, social housing, or commercial fit-outs. * Tools & PPE: Full professional kit (brushes, rollers, scrapers, and steps) and standard 5-point PPE. Whites must be worn on-site. Reliability: Must have a high standard of workmanship and the ability to get to the site in Berwick daily. * Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
