Billings Assistant Wanted!

Our client, a reputable legal organisation based in Holborn, Central London, is on the lookout for a temporary Billings Assistant to join their dynamic team! This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced environment just a 3-minute walk from Holborn train station.
What We Offer:
1. Contract Type: Temporary
2. Location: Holborn, Central London
3. Hourly Rate: £15-18 per hour (dependent on experience)
4. Work Schedule: 5 days in the office
5. Start Date: Week commencing 1st September
Key Responsibilities:
As a Billings Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the finance team. Your tasks will include:
6. Raising and posting bills within the firm's practise management system.
7. Assisting in the preparation, amendment, and finalisation of client invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client guidelines.
8. Liaising directly with lawyers and secretaries to resolve billing queries and make necessary amendments.
9. Submitting invoices via client e-billing platforms and resolving any rejections.
10. Reviewing time and disbursement entries for accuracy.
11. Supporting day-to-day administration of the Finance team, including filing, posting, and maintaining billing records.
12. Providing general office support to ensure the smooth running of the department. ️
What We're Looking For:
13. Previous experience in a law firm is essential.
14. Familiarity with legal software, especially Quil, is beneficial but not mandatory.
15. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
16. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members.
