Job Description
Key Project Management role for Marine business unit within GE Power Conversion & Storage UK Ltd, specifically within the NNPPI / Air Gapped environments.
Taking full responsibility for effective delivery & commercial control of assigned project(s) and being the key principal contact for GEV PCS DT. The successful candidate will coordinate the activities of all team members, including all involved functions, and drive SQDC. You will ensure that all requirements are fully understood and translated into a clear, traceable action plan & manage its implementation.
Essential Responsibilities
* Manage a critical project for the Marine IT requirements, ensuring contractual obligations are met on time and within budget.
* Be the primary point of contact for internal Customers, building strong stakeholder relationships and achieving high customer satisfaction.
* Lead and coordinate the project from an IT/DT standpoint to deliver objectives efficiently.
* Interface with GEV PCS units and external suppliers as needed.
* Manage the project's commercial, technical, and quality issues.
* Create, maintain, and drive progress against a project plan.
* Ensure compliance with GE Vernova processes and procedures, including security guidelines.
* Conduct project reviews to monitor progress, manage costs, identify deviations, and forecast performance, especially managing change evolution.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Degree or equivalent experience in IT/DT & Project Management qualification.
* Ability to manage projects in a Regulatory DT environment.
* Experience in managing design evolution and change, with clear reporting skills.
* Basic knowledge of NNPPI and On-Prem regulations is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills for liaising at all levels.
* Understanding of Contract Laws.
* Flexibility to travel within the UK; full UK driving license required.
