Role
Due to the growth of the business, we are now seeking a
Project & Operations Coordinator
to become part of our team based at the Bristol & Bath Science Park.
This is a hybrid coordination role spanning project planning support, resource tracking, commercial reporting, and office operations. You will work closely with our engineering and leadership teams to ensure projects are effectively scheduled, monitored and supported — while also helping maintain the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
This role is ideally suited to someone who is highly organised, proactive, and keen to develop within a technology and engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Schedule Management
* Maintain project plans and schedules across multiple programmes
* Track progress against milestones and highlight risks or delays
* Support resource planning and allocation across engineering teams
* Produce project tracking reports and status updates
Commercial & Reporting Support
* Coordinate customer invoicing processes
* Track project hours and ensure timesheets are completed
* Support utilisation and revenue reporting
* Assist with sales and marketing performance tracking
Customer Enquiry & Bid Coordination
* Track all incoming customer enquiries and opportunities
* Ensure each enquiry is assigned to an appropriate director for bid ownership
* Monitor bid progress and follow up internally on timelines
* Provide customers with updates on proposal status and expected submission dates
* Maintain enquiry and bid tracking systems.
Marketing & Lead Tracking
* Monitor Google Ads performance and lead generation activity
* Track enquiry sources and campaign effectiveness
* Produce monthly marketing performance reports
* Support the continuous improvement of marketing tracking processes
Operations & Office Coordination
* Organise company events (e.g. Christmas parties, team socials)
* Coordinate new employee onboarding and inductions
* Support general office administration and operations
Logistics
* Manage shipping, postage, and delivery coordination
* Support the movement of hardware between customers, suppliers, and company sites
Qualifications:
Candidates should ideally have:
* A degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in business, management, or a related discipline,
OR
relevant experience in a coordination, operations, or administrative role.
* Be computer literate and confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Experience using Microsoft Project or similar project planning/scheduling tools.

* Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (Depending on experience)
* Pension Contribution: Matched pension contribution up to 7% of salary
