Job Role: Health, Safety & Compliance Lead

Salary: £57,139 (pro rata), depending on experience and qualifications

Location: This role is based between our Wykes Road depot and Western Way office.

Benefits: Our package includes 26 days holiday (pro rata) and membership of the Social Housing Pension Scheme.

The Health, Safety & Compliance Lead will support the implementation of Health, Safety & Environmental policies and ensure the company adheres to legal standards, regulatory requirements, and in-house policies. They will be responsible for embedding legislative requirements for health and safety in all areas of the business as well as provide guidance and expert advice on compliance matters. They will support the Executive Team to deliver safe & compliant homes and services to our residents, providing assurance in proactively managing H&S and transparency at all levels.

We are looking for someone who has the following characteristics

* A Health, Safety & Compliance expert with a broad range of experience, ideally within the social housing sector
* Someone who wants to provide the best possible service to residents that we can
* Someone great at working collaboratively

Qualifications

* IOSH Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health Leadership and Management (or working towards)
* NEBOSH Diploma / BSc in Occupational Safety and Health (or equivalent)
* Extensive experience (over 3 years) in occupied domestic building safety & compliance:
o Gas safety
o Asbestos management
o Legionella
o Electrical safety
o Lift management
o Fire safety
o HHSRS
o Accident and incident investigation
