The salary for this role is £12.40 per hour. As a Christmas Customer Assistant, you'll be at the heart of the action, greeting customers with a smile, offering product and gift advice, and creating a memorable experience that leads to a happily ever after and keeps them coming back all year round.

While this is a temporary contract, there may be potential for a permanent role later depending on opportunities in your local area.
About the role
You will work in a Boots store and report to the Assistant or Store Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
* Customer Interaction: You'll offer thoughtful advice, recommend products and highlight our amazing offers to ensure everyone has an enjoyable shopping experience and no one leaves empty-handed.
* Till Operation: Whether you're wrapping up purchases at the counter or supporting our self-checkout systems, you'll bring energy and efficiency to every transaction.
* Stock Management: You'll keep shelves full so customers can find what they need during the busiest shopping season of the year.
* Store Presentation: Ensure every area always looks its best.
* Online order support: You may assist with deliveries, picking, and packing for online orders as needed.
What you'll need to have
Full training is provided, but these are the essential skills or experience:
* Available to work Bank Holidays including Black Friday week and weekend, Cyber Monday, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day.
* Customer Service Skills: Comfortable approaching customers and providing a personalised experience.
* Operations Ready: Able to balance customer care with daily shopfloor and operational tasks.
* Tech-Savvy: Ability to learn and use new technology, including handheld devices, tills and self-checkouts.
* Team Player: Collaborative, one-team mindset.
* Physical Stamina: On your feet, standing, walking and lifting.
* Brand Ambassador: Love Boots ethos and products and share them with customers.
It would be great if you also have
* Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment
* Familiarity with Boots products and services to help customers
