Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary School Teacher/Cover Supervisor to join our team as a supply teacher. This role is ideal for a flexible and adaptable individual who can seamlessly cover classes and support teaching staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
* Support students with their learning and address any questions or concerns they may have.
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure curriculum continuity.
* Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the school leadership team.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience.
* Ability to teach a variety of subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the school.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
We welcome candidates seeking full-time, part-time, or flexible supply work. You will work Monday to Friday during term time only. School hours may vary slightly depending on the school.
