TIG Welder
A long-established, innovation-led manufacturer is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to support the production of high-quality stainless steel thermal solutions. With over six decades of engineering heritage, the business continues to grow through product innovation and a focus on craftsmanship and quality. This is a hands-on role ideal for a detail-oriented welder with experience in stainless steel fabrication, looking to be part of a collaborative and supportive team.
TIG Welder
Responsibilities:
Carry out precision TIG welding on stainless steel components including tanks, vessels, skid-sets, and hygienic process equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
Work to tight tolerances and ensure finished products meet required quality and safety standards.
Collaborate with other production team members to complete builds on time and to spec.
Perform post-weld finishing (e.g. dressing, polishing) to required surface finishes.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company HSE policies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a high-performing production team.TIG Welder
Requirements:
Proven experience in TIG welding, ideally with stainless steel.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and fabrication instructions.
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality, consistent work.
Good understanding of fabrication and assembly processes, including forming, cutting, and pipework.
Flexible and positive attitude with a willingness to support wider production tasks as needed.
Team player with good communication skills and a strong work ethic.Desirable Attributes:
Experience working with pressure vessels, tanks, or hygienic process equipment.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement environments.
Understanding of relevant quality standards or welding codes (e.g. ASME, PED, CE/UKCA).TIG Welder
