Location:
The Sr Instruments Sales Representative will ideally be based in the Netherlands, UK, France, Germany, Denmark, or Sweden.
Division Specific Information:
The Chemical Analysis Division features innovative analytics, from lab to line to field. Our business serves a wide range of industrial markets including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, environmental, process minerals, mining, coal, cement, and metals, as well as academic, government, safety, and security.
Discover Impactful Work:
As the Regional Sales Manager, Environmental & Process Monitoring, you will deliver incremental growth and revenue for the Division’s EPM business in the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. You will work on territory business planning, managing and forecasting the sales pipeline, and building relationships with key customers to close sales.
A Day in the Life:
* Develop and maintain a balanced pipeline of sales opportunities by collaborating with direct and indirect customers (distributors).
* Develop, maintain, and own go-to-market plans for the region in close collaboration with the local channel manager and commercial leader.
* Understand the strengths and vulnerabilities of major competitors and develop sales strategies to respond effectively.
* Be creative in finding ways to close deals based on a ‘must-win’ mentality.
* Be a strong team player, eager to learn and contribute ideas to grow the EMEA and Global EPM business.
Keys to Success:
Education:
* Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degrees are preferred.
Experience:
* 5+ years of sales experience.
* 2+ years of indirect and/or distribution management experience.
* Experience selling capital equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Ability to travel 50%+ across the territory.
* Strong technical knowledge of the chemical and/or environmental industry and experience selling in those markets.
* Self-starter able to work independently.
* Ability to prospect new business with a ‘hunter’ approach.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English is a must; additional languages are a bonus.
