Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and nurturing Reception Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Early Years practitioner who is passionate about creating a strong foundation for children at the very start of their educational journey.
The school is looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences while maintaining high expectations for progress, behaviour and development.
The Role:
* Full classroom responsibility within Reception
* Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the Early Years curriculum
* Creating a stimulating and safe learning environment
* Monitoring, assessing and tracking pupil progress
* Supporting children’s social, emotional and language development
* Working closely with teaching assistants, SEN staff and parents
* Contributing positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within Early Years or Reception
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years curriculum
* Excellent classroom management skills
* Warm, patient and adaptable approach
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
