Overview

Business Administration Apprentice role at Prestige Building Supplies. The company is a leading independent supplier of building materials based in Rochdale, delivering service and reliable products to trade and retail customers. The apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in customer service, sales support, and office systems while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.


Responsibilities

* Calling customers and managing enquiries over the phone and by email
* Dealing with customer service issues promptly and professionally
* Processing and updating website orders
* Inputting and maintaining records in Sage
* Handling and responding to website enquiries
* Allocating and processing customer payments
* Setting up new customer accounts and managing credit limits
* Updating prices and product information on the CRM and website
* Supporting general office administration filing, data entry, and documentation
* Working closely with colleagues across sales and accounts departments


Training and Apprenticeship

Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. Training delivered in partnership with Rochdale Training through a combination of workplace learning and training.


Progression

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress into a full-time Business Administrator, Sales Support, or Accounts Assistant role within Prestige Building Supplies, with ongoing career development opportunities.


Hours

Monday to Thursday 9:00 to 17:00, Friday 9:00 to 16:30 with a 1-hour lunch.
