We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostics Engineer to join our Climate Domain team The role focuses on service and manufacturing diagnostics, ensuring robust system design, fault detection, and effective corrective actions. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing diagnostic strategies, health check routines, and supporting vehicle serviceability across global markets.
Diagnostics EngineerKey Responsibilities
* Develop and validate diagnostic strategies for climate domain systems in line with service and manufacturing requirements.
* Conduct system design logic reviews, failure analysis, and DFMEA to ensure robust fault detection and resolution.
* Lead root cause investigations, define corrective actions, and document service solutions.
* Design, develop, and validate health check routines for vehicle systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure diagnostic coverage across hardware and software changes.
* Support service engineering teams with technical documentation and diagnostic guidelines.
* Utilize internal tools such as TOPIX and MSOSA for diagnostics development and validation.
* Apply knowledge of UDS and OBD-II protocols to ensure compliance with global diagnostic standards.
* Work with vehicle electrical networks and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet) to integrate diagnostic solutions.
Diagnostics EngineerKey Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in service and manufacturing diagnostics engineering within the automotive sector.
* Strong background in system design logic, DFMEA, and fault detection methodologies.
* Hands-on experience in service corrective actions and root cause documentation.
* Expertise in health check routine design, development, and validation.
* Proficiency with diagnostic tools and internal systems (TOPIX, MSOSA).
* In-depth knowledge of UDS and OBD-II diagnostic protocols.
* Solid understanding of vehicle electrical networks and communication protocols.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Experience working in climate control systems or related vehicle domains.
