The Role
We're looking for a skilled and experienced Paint Sprayer to join our busy bodyshop team. You'll be responsible for preparing and spraying vehicles to a premium finish, working with modern paint systems and equipment in a professional, well-equipped environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare vehicles for paint application (masking, sanding, priming)
* Mix and match paint to manufacturer specifications
* Apply base coats, clear coats, and finishes using spray guns and booth equipment
* Ensure a flawless, high-quality finish on all vehicles
* Work to job cards and timescales while maintaining quality standards
* Conduct quality checks and address any defects or imperfections
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
* Work collaboratively with Panel Beaters, Technicians, and the wider team
What We're Looking For
Essential:
* Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer in an accident repair or bodyshop environment
* Strong knowledge of paint systems, mixing, and application techniques
* Ability to work with waterborne and solvent-based paints
* High attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent finishes
* Ability to work efficiently to deadlines without compromising quality
* Team player with a positive, professional attitude
Desirable:
* ATA/IMI qualifications or equivalent
* Experience with manufacturer paint systems and colour matching technology
* Knowledge of health and safety standards in paint application
