Tennial Personnel are seeking a dedicated and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our client based in the Ipswich area. This is a temporary to permanent position, with working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm including a 30-minute lunch break. The successful candidate will be working in the chemical production department and will be given full training, PPE, and shadowing at the start to understand the role fully. Key Responsibilities include: Safe handling of hazardous chemicals in line with COSHH regulations and manufacturing procedures Assembling laboratory glassware and equipment Following detailed manufacturing procedures for chemical synthesis and formulation Recording data and test results in accordance with GMP and ISO 9001 guidelines Testing process samples using various analytical techniques, including Thin Layer Chromatography, Gas Chromatography, and pH measurement Maintaining, cleaning, and calibrating laboratory equipment Performing stock and inventory reports Working independently or as part of a team to meet production and testing targets Adhering strictly to health and safety protocols and procedures Skills Required Computer literacy and good arithmetic ability Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation Ability to work under pressure and manage workload effectively Competence in working to strict procedures and quality standards Qualifications Required Ideally educated to A-level standard Experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, or chemical environment is desirable Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO 9001 standards is an advantage Keywords Chemistry Lab Technician Science ADZN1_UKTJ
